About the Sylvester Palm...
The Sylvestris Date Palm is similar in appearance to both its brothers, the Canary Island Date and Medjool Date. However, it is not as big as a Canary, only ready 30-40 feet and is more cold tolerant than the Medjool, living down to zone 7B. With its silvery-green leaves, relatively small stature and cold tolerance, the Sylvester Date Palm is the perfect palm specimen for landscapes from Florida to Delaware.
