The Loquat is a beautiful evergreen fruit tree native to Asia, often called a Japanese Loquat. It is a small to medium sized tree growing 20 to 30 feet, but often smaller. The long, elliptical, serrated leaves add a tropical look to the garden and the bold textured foliage contrasts well with many other plants, such as palm trees.

Guava Trees

The Guava is a sub-tropical fruit native to central America. It is grown from Florida across the lower south, gulf coastal region to Texas, as an outdoor plant. With a good source of light, it can be grown in containers and brought indoors for growing in northern climates. The Guava is a small tree or evergreen shrub that produces fragrant white flowers followed by 2-4 inch long round or oval shaped fruits.

Olive Trees

The olive tree is native to the Mediterranean region and dates back to the beginning of mankind. The olive tree has played a role in human history, even mentioned in the Genesis story of Noah. The olive is an attractive evergreen tree that can grow 30 feet tall and 30 feet wide. However, it usually grows short and stubby (20' x 20').

Fig Trees

The Fig Tree is one of the great fruits of the world, mentioned in ancient texts as a staple of human diets since the beginning of recorded history. Figs come in a variety of sizes and colors and are very easy to grow. Fig trees are all self-fertile and very productive. A fertile well drained soil is recommended along with plentiful sunlight for maximum production.
